Membership in DSBA opens communication and information doors for your company that you cannot find anywhere else. It provides access to timely updates on government and private sector initiatives. It offers venues to talk directly with community leaders. That’s why the Dulles South Business Alliance (DSBA) was formed. To keep you informed.
Here are samples of discussions held at the monthly DSBA luncheons:
- Two candidate forums to include representatives from the local and state levels.
- Larry Rosenstrauch from Loudoun’s Economic Development Committee and Ari Sky from Loudoun’s Budget Office presented the 2007 growth and development in the area and the proposed budget.
- Because of the importance of the subject, in February of 2008 the DSBA held its first ever special meeting hosted by Moore Cadillac Hummer in Chantilly and catered by Moe’s Southwest Grill. Our guest speakers for this meeting were Leo Schefer from the Dulles Loop Implementation Group and Paul Prideaux from the Michael Baker Group.
- Tim Sargeant, Virginia Dominion Power, gave a presentation on their proposed transmission line.
- Art Smith, George Phillips, and Andy Beach of the Loudoun County Office of Transportation Services gave an update on the Route 50 transportation projects.
